These mini moon-shaped cookies are such easy as the smallest family members can do it too. I like to bake it during new moon but sometimes I make some during full moon too.
Ingredients:
280 g white flour
250 g vegetable butter
100 g ground walnut
70 g powdered sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2-3 tbsp milk

Mix the ingredients in a bigger bowl. Knead them until homogeneous. If it’s too tough or dusty then mix it with another 1-2 tbsp milk. The butter will melt by the warmth of our hands, so the more we knead the more it will melt.
When the dough is like plasticine make small balls of it and shape the balls to crescents. Heat the oven to 175°C and bake the cookies for 10-12 mins. It’s baked when the corner of the crescents gets burned to brown. It seems like the middle of the cookies are still raw but they aren’t. Take them off the oven and roll them into powdered sugar during they are still warm. Let them cool and store in a cold, dry place.
It’s a very good sacrificing cookie during moon rituals or thanksgiving rituals.
