Many witches say color magic is not so important, but I think perhaps it is one of the most basic things we need to learn if we want our spell to succeed. The psychology of colors has been described in many books, there has been a lot of research on the subject, and it is a scientifically proven fact that colors affect our mood. In the same way, colors affect our magic, as they help with concentration, focus on purpose, and thus the success of our magic.

The first one I write about is the Red.
Red is an active, strong and energetic color. Not many people can wear red clothes. Red is usually the favorite color of those who have loud, active personalities. The red rose on the date has become a cliché, and sexy women also dress in red. There are also red lights in the brothels, and that’s not surprising: red is the color of pleasure. It brings vitality, success, love, seduction and sexiness in your life. Red is the color of the blood, and therefore the color of life. Some groups associate red color with the god Ares who was the god of battle; others with the Mother from the three faces of the Moon Goddess. It is asssigned to the root chakra, the Fire element, and astrologers assign it to Mars as well. So you can use it for any spells where you need self-confidence, enthusiasm, strength, vitality, but it is also the basic color of love spells. It is also a popular color for births and rebirthd holidays, and it is very useful whenever you want to cast spells on your own body.
However, red should be treated with caution. Red can be violent. In black magic, it is used primarily for blood magic, for damaging spells, if they want to stop someone from doing something, it is also used for curses and vandalism.
Use red on these feasts: Beltane, Yule.
Plants that can enhance the color red:

From the tarot deck, the fives and the swords are assigned to it.
